Pavan's wide-ranging legal and non-legal interests and experiences make him the best choice for the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. He will apply lessons he has learned throughout his career as the top Democratic lawyer in the Ohio Senate to his service as a Special Victims Counsel in the US Army Reserve JAG Corps representing victims of sexual assault to bring new perspectives to creating greater access to the courts and improving the administration of justice. Pavan is the only person in this race that has worked for all three branches of government in a combination of federal and state roles.
In addition to being engaged in service to the legal profession by serving in leadership positions in local bar associations, he is active in legal education as an adjunct professor at UC Law and Xavier University. He will bring that understanding of principles of law in theory and practice to ensure that his decisions are rooted in the law with a concern for fundamental fairness.
Put simply, Pavan’s passion for the law and justice will make sure his courtroom works for everyone.
